Books I Read in 2019

Spread the love

My goal this year is to ramp up my reading while cutting back on social media. I have a whole bookcase of books I need to get through before I move home. I only plan on taking my absolute favorite books back with me.

As I read through the books, I will list the completed ones here with a score and micro-review. Some books might get their review, which will have a direct link leading to that page.

English Books

  1. In a Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware
    • Rating: 3.5/5 Started the year with this psychological thriller. Long story short, a woman goes to a friend’s bachelorette party in a remote house in the woods. Something happens, and she ends up in the hospital covered in blood and unable to recall the events. The book flashes between the weekend events and the present time as she tries to figure out what went wrong. The book is interesting and did make me want to read more, but the revelation fell a little flat.
